Writing on the topic of recent sexual harassment allegations against a new Senate appointee, Blatchford argues that sexual harassment (of women) is barely "worthy of our attention." She expects "young women to be able to handle" harassing behaviour, "and probably even to indulge now and then in the equivalent sort of thing themselves." To Blatchford, the (male) harassors (including the new Senator) are the real victims.
Not to be outdone, Murphy leaps from Vancouver's recent snowy weather to his weekly shot at the "science" (his quotation marks, not mine) of global warming. He mocks climate scientists, and disputes their recent findings without providing a shred of countering data or evidence. All while offering up his usual litany of smears and slurs: "global warming hierophants," "less tethered minds," "hubris on steroids," "alarmists," etc.
Just a typical Saturday morning with the Globe, Canada's "most authoritative" (my quotation marks, not theirs) news source.
