On a good day, the conservative comment page in the National Post is laughable for its bias and zaniness. On a bad day, it's filled with hate and misinformation. (It's filled with misinformation on a good day, too.)
Today was a good day, and Post commentators and editorialists outdid themselves. Impressively, at last check on the Post website this afternoon, pundits were 7 for 8, lining up against the proposed coalition government in Ottawa and in support of the Harper Conservatives. (Jonathan Kay was the only voice in favour of a coalition government. His support for a change in government, however, was based on his view that such a change would strengthen the Conservatives and weaken the other parties.)
Wow. If there was a daily award for clearest and most consistently biased commentary by a national media organization, the Post would win today's prize hands down.
